We are pleased to announce that after much prayer and searching, we have found a location to celebrate God's Feast of Tabernacles in 2011. We have entered into an agreement that gives us an exceptional facility at exceptional prices. This will allow our festival funds to go much further this year and to help us do even more in serving God’s people.
We will be observing the Feast of Tabernacles at the Honey Creek Resort State Park on beautiful Rathbun Lake in Moravia, Iowa.
The facility is owned and operated by the State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources and is first class in every respect. We have reserved a new, high tech, and beautiful meeting space with high quality, beautiful and new accommodations.
Honey Creek Resort turns three years old this summer and is located on the 11,000 acre Rathbun Lake. The property itself has 850 acres and includes hiking and biking trails, an 18 hole golf course, boating, kayaking, an indoor water park, cottages, suites, rooms, an excellent on site restaurant and much more. We have finished negotiating the contract with the facilities and are now in the process of planning the details for this year's Feast. We will be posting more information, pictures, and a schedule on the website soon. Please keep checking www.feast2011.org for updates. We would appreciate your continued prayers for the planning and preparation leading up to the Feast.
We look forward to a year of powerful messages, inspirational music, thought provoking seminars and Bible Studies, and fun fellowship focused activities. We have not been this fired up about what God has prepared for us in years.
Please prayerfully consider joining us this year at Honey Creek Resort State Park. It is fairly remote to get to but it reminds us of how God told Moses to take the Children of Israel three days journey out into the wilderness to worship Him. Your journey will be worth it.
